Every obstetric patient has frequent visits which include sonograms. This not only allows parents to enjoy watching their baby develop, but can also detect potential problems early. 3D and 4D sonograms are available as well.
Below is an example of progressive sonograms showing the development of the baby:
INFERTILITY: evaluation and treatment including hormone studies, sonograms to detect ovulation, pharmacological treatments as appropriate, sperm washes, and insemination performed in the office.
ENDOMETRIAL ABLATION: Is a very effective way to help patients who are suffering with menorrhagia or excessive bleeding with their monthly cycles, painful period, polps and fibroids. This procedure is performed under a para-cervical block in the office. Heated saline is circulated around the endometrial lining of the uterus.
The patient experiences little to no discomfort during or after the procedure. The next day most patients return to their normal activities. In past years this procedure was done in the hospital. The patient would have hospital charges, Anesthesiologist fees and the surgeons charges. They would also lose several days in recovery. By using this technology you can greatly improve your quality of life with very little interruption to your normal routine. This procedure is covered by most insurance companies.

ESSURE STERILIZATION: A new way to obtain safe and permanent birth control for you and it is done IN-OFFICE. This procedure requires no cutting or stitches. It is done by using two small coils that are placed in the fallopian tubes. A para-cervical block is done to prevent any discomfort to the patient. Normal activities are usually resumed on the next day. Most insurance companies are covering this procedure.
