Robotic laparoscopic surgery is a less invasive surgery which allows for minimal blood loss and pain. The risk of wound infection is much less than with other surgeries and normal activities are resumed at a much faster rate. Surgeries that previously required open laparotomy can now be done with minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery using advanced technology.
